Academically

Self-directed Learners who:

  • Demonstrate responsibility in the learning process through organization and time management skills
  • Effectively access and assess information from a variety of resources
  • Collaborate with peers to promote learning

Critical Thinkers who:

  • Evaluate current events and issues with discernment from a Christian perspective
  • Organize and prioritize information
  • Apply problem solving strategies in real life situations
  • Read, write, speak and listen reflectively and critically

Effective Communicators who:

  • Appreciate and express themselves in art, music, drama, and athletics
  • Receive, interpret and communicate information accurately
  • Demonstrate competence in technology skills used in everyday life

Spiritually

Seekers who:

  • Have accepted or have been challenged to accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God and as their personal Savior
  • Recognize the need for integration of the truth of God’s Word in every area of their lives
  • Know the tools necessary for growing in the Christian faith: prayer, Bible study and fellowship
  • Are able to explain the plan of salvation
  • Begin to identify their personal giftedness and personal value as an individual created in the image of God

Socially

Relaters who:

  • Have been challenged to demonstrate positive Christian citizenship by showing responsibility towards others
  • Are able to demonstrate care and respect for all people regardless of their cultural background
  • Have been encouraged to actively participate in church, school and community activities

Physically

Interactive Individuals who:

  • Understand the need to develop and maintain physically fit bodies and be presented with the understanding that their bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit
  • Develop motor skills and athletic skills according to their individual readiness
  • Make healthy decisions for themselves based on their knowledge of caring for their bodies
