Middle School Reboot

Today Miss Balentine challenged the students to look through aBiblical lens when using technology:

  • To act as a Christian
  • To be prudent and kind with online interactions
  • To accept the support systems that guard our use of technology
  • To not let our device own us but God
  • To obey our parents, school and God in its use
  • To honor God daily

Students were reminded of our school’s technology goals to be mature, visible & accountable, and be safe & responsible.
We hope to encourage our students to evaluate how to use technology and the internet in ways that honor God. We’ll also be discussing practical tips for staying on task with school work, especially while learning remotely from home.

Middle School Outdoor Chapel

We hope your Middle School student can join us for a special Outdoor Chapel this Friday, February 19 from 4:00-5:30 pm. This is in place of our regular morning Chapel. Bring your own chair! We’ll meet socially distanced outdoors. Geoff Smith will be teaching and Donny Hoover will be leading worship. All CDC and LA County guidelines for health and safety will be followed, including temperature checks and health screenings for everyone on campus. This is sure to be a great time for our students to be together in person, worshipping the Lord!
